Holding hands with her loving family, Sandra made her journey on December 18, 2019. Her loss is deeply felt by her daughter Gennet, and her mother Joyce. Dear sister of Sharon and “the boys” Sherlock, Enroy (Sandra), Terry (Opal), and Michael (Bonnie). Sandra’s fiery banter will be missed at Wednesday Night Sessions. Predeceased by great-grandmother Adrianna Thornhill, father Neville King, and eldest brother Keith King. Beloved godchild and niece of Sheila Jones. Remembered so fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and lifelong friends. After 26 years in the Ontario Public Service, Sandra’s hearty laugh and advocacy of people in crisis has been missed at the courthouse and the Victim/Witness Assistance Program from which she retired in 2018.

Sandra’s relationship with her Heavenly Father deeply intensified with the passing of her earthly father. Since then, she has maintained a committed and active fellowship with her many brothers and sisters in Faith.

Let us join together in gratitude for the life of our sister Sandra on December 30th, 2019. Services will begin at 1030, followed by a reception at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line in Burlington. Close family and friends will then proceed to Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memoriam to Bob Kemp Hospice, or the Cancer Assistance Program. Help them support others as they supported Sandra.
