Obituary for Ruth Heutschi (Muller)
RUTH HEUTSCHI
January 12, 1935 - February 16, 2021
Loving mother of Ron (Laura) and Mark, inspiring grandmother to Eric (Mollie), Emma (Baran) and Daniel and caring sister to Millie. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 2016. Refined, elegant and strong, Ruth left Switzerland at 21 and built a life in Canada. A devoted mother and wife who kept an impeccable house and raised two good men, she became a leading commercial real estate agent with Royal LePage for many years. Skiing and playing tennis well into her 70’s, Ruth enjoyed opera, theatre, cooking, gardening, sewing, and investing, and was a friend to many in the Swiss Club of Toronto. While living with cancer the past nine years, she travelled, cared for Frank, remained steadfastly independent and positive, retained her sharp wit, and played a mean game of Jass.
