To the Dear Paul Family: It is with a heavy heart I am coming to you with words I cannot even begin to express. Ruth, Andrew, Angela, Marinus, Alice (whom I also called mom and dad for many years alongside my own) Julie, Joyce and Matthew. Echoes of Rogers happy laugh and smile ring inside me these days ever since I heard the news. I can't say enough about what a gentle, kind and loving soul Roger was. He was always a gentleman and never mistreated anyone that I knew of. He was always ready to laugh, have fun, be fun and he was always there for people. I can't be there physically as I am in another country but I am there in spirit for all of you. I don't know how to comfort without a hug or to ask God to do so for you at this time. And again, ALL the Paul Family, you all will always have a special place in my heart and my deepest condolences are indeed weak compared to what I truly feel or want to say.
Much love and hugs from Missouri,
Stephanie (Frandsen) Smith

To my oldest and dearest friend Roger Paul
Even though we didn’t get together enough (due to my fault) Roger always found time to pick up the phone or pop by.
Roger and I have been friends since we were in diapers. I will sorely miss him.
My deepest sympathy to Ruth, Andrew, and Angela. As well as Mr and Mrs Paul, Joyce, Julie, and Mathew
Roger was always the kindest, straight shooting person I have ever had the privilege knowing.
I will greatly miss my old friend.
With love Jim Low
