Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Russell). Loving father of Judy Sovran, Patti Arial (John), Lynne Wimperis (Steve) and Tom. Grandfather of Mark, Rhys, Russell, Robbie, Rachel and Lindsay. Great grandfather of 3. Army Reserve for 38 years, Commanding Officer and Honorary Colonel of 23 Service Battalion in Hamilton and the Signals Squadron. Robert retired from Stelco, starting his career there in 1964. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church (461 Elizabeth St., Burlington) on Monday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
