Peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Thursday October 17, 2019 Bob Lloyd of Burlington at the age of 81. Son of the late Maurice and Laura Lloyd. Beloved husband of the late Sophia (Sandi). Bob is lovingly remembered and survived by his daughters Robin, Terri (Alan), the late Darryn, son JP (Cathy) brother Murray (Fran), late brother Michael, sister in law Victoria (Manning) Sears, late brother in law Edward (Ginny) Terech. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his niece Lorimer, nephews David, Peter (Heather), and Cam. Grandchildren Meghan (Brian), Michael, Derek (Mel), Karen (Rob), Alicia. Great nieces and nephews Madison, Kevin, Matthew, Nicole and Alexys. Great grandchildren Austin, Alison, Sarah, and Delaney. Once president of Lloyd’s Glass, Bob worked in the glass business until retirement. His love of boating and the water was a lifelong interest, shared by the love of his life, Sandi, for many years. Bob lived his life quietly and loved his family, especially his dog Luca, who will miss him very much. Special thanks to Drs. Naidoo and Szalay and the wonderful staff and volunteers at The Carpenter Hospice. Private Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held in the spring.
