Rita MacIsaac passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday October 12, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Arch MacIsaac. Loved mother of Phil, Doug (Joanne) and Rob (Anne). Cherished Nana of Taylor and Aaron, Sarah and Catherine. Predeceased by her mother Florence Costello. Dear sister of Carol Salciccioli (late Sam). Also lovingly remembered by her nephew Derek, his children Anna, Nicolas, and Anthony, niece Andrea and her daughter Mady, and dear friend Gloria Finnigan. Private cremation has taken place. Visitation is at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Memorial donations directed to The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Nephrology Dept. at St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
