Passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Carpenter Hospice on Friday February 3rd, 2023, in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Kirsten, loving father of Ryker and Bailey. Dear son of Bob and the late Evelyn, and brother to Linda (Mike) and the late Karen. Richard will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Ingrid (Darren), Birgitta (Rik), Astrid (Don), by his nieces and nephews Adam, Ryan, Amy, Rob, Tara, Kealan, Rachel, Braedan, and by all his extended family and many friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home on 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. Visiting begins at 12:00pm and the service begins at 1:00pm. Reception to follow.
