Passed away peacefully at Maple Villa Long Term Care Center in Burlington on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Marina for 60 years. Loving father of Donna (Stephen), Kara (Chris) and Mark (Bonnie). Proud grandfather of Andrew, Nathaniel, Natasha, Alexander and Eric. In keeping with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
