Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington at the age of 74. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Laima; children Krista (Chris Civiero), Daniel and Nadina (Adam Wiltschek); grandchildren Killian, Cam, Corsyn, Auggie, Vienne and Tyler; and siblings Barb O’Neil (Keith) and Jeff Cowburn (Wendy). Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Ferne Cowburn and sister Patricia Ann Coe. A special thank you to the many healthcare professionals who have shown Richard and his family exceptional care and support over the years. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and no Funeral Service will be held at this time. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
