Passed peacefully at Christopher Terrace Retirement on Friday, November 11th 2022 at the age of 86.
Renate was the loving wife of the late Louis Steiner (d. 2015); devoted mother of Christina Marshall and
Marcus Reid (Alex); proud Nanny of Mathew and Steven (Tracy); and Great-Nanny of Walker and Violet.
Renate had many friends in the senior care sector of Burlington and Oakville whom she dearly loved and
who were a great comfort to her and the family through her life challenges.
A private family interment will be held at Burlington Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations
in Renate’s honour to the CNIB Foundation or the JBH Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the
family.
