BOUCHER, Remi Alfred
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Burlington, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Colleen (nee O’Gorman) for 53 years. Loving father of Lisa (Richard Garneau) and Tracey Boucher. Dear brother of Liz Marcolin (late John), late Suzanne Boucher, Naida Gauvin (Prime), Diane Rodrigue (Paul), Celine Waugh (Denis), Orise Rennie (Claver), Marielle Boucher (Bill) and Danny Boucher (Rebecca). Remi will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), Burlington, 905-632-3333 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 12noon until time of Funeral Prayer Service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. The family wish to thank their friends and family who have been wonderful support to the family throughout the years. Special thanks to Dr. Sue Archibald, our family physician, and Ester Roberts, with CaliCare, and the palliative homecare team, who made it possible for Remi to remain at home, where he wanted to be. If desired, donations to the Oncology Department of Joseph Brant Hospital, who became like family to Remi over his seven years of treatment, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
