Passed away at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, February 20, 2010, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Connolly). Loved father of Lou Collins (Carol) of Burlington, Betty O'Brien of Binbrook and Gord Collins (Cathy) of Binbrook and the late Bill Collins. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Tom, Daniel, David and Kelly Ann and the late David Maurer and Bill O'Brien and great-grandfather of Justine, Nicole, Grace and Sean. Special thanks to Dr. Fornasier and all of the staff on 4 East at JBMH for all of your wonderful care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington, on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 1 pm. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.
