CHARROIS, Raymond Paul “Ray”
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Lorraine Charrois (nee Weiler). Loving father of Pat Charrois (Lori) and Tim Charrois (Veronica). Cherished grandfather of Ella, Quinten and Adrianna. Ray will be dearly missed by his siblings Rejeanne Hergott (Jim), Fern Szewczyk (John), Marie Harpe (Eyke), Norman Charrois, Marcel Charrois (Andrée) and Denise Charrois. He is predeceased by his sister Claudette Catherwood. Ray will be fondly remembered as the owner of the Grimsby Chip Wagon for 23 years. Visitation will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton would be sincerely appreciated.
