Passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 73. Ralph was the beloved husband and best friend of Susan (nee Moore) for 48 years. Loving father of Kevin (Bella), Kristofer (Christina), Kyle (Iza) and Michelle Lomas (Chad). Proud grandfather of Lourdes, Joaquin, Zara, Jonathan, Zack and Abigail. Dear brother of Win Oliver (the late Ron) and Keith (Terry). Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Thelma Button, and brother Norm (the late Pat). He will be missed and fondly remembered by extended family and many friends in the community of Stoney Creek. Ralph left a legacy of "Service Above Self". A heartfelt thank-you to all the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and family doctors for their incredible care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.
