Obituary for Phyllis Eleanor Joan Doyle (Buck)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Phyllis Eleanor Joan Doyle (nee Buck) in her 96th year, at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday June 29th, 2021. Beloved Mother to her three children, Barbara Doyle, Susan Fischer nee Doyle (Daniel) and Bruce Doyle. Grandmother to Jennifer Ross nee Fischer (Tim) and Pamela Fischer (Chris Aschaber ), Great-grandmother to Paisley Ross. Sister to Robert Buck (Mary) and predeceased by her Brothers Allen Buck (Catherine) and Ronald Buck (Betty).
Phyllis graduated from the University of Toronto and went on to teach for the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board for many years. In her retirement she became an active member of the District 13 RTO.
We wish to thank Joseph Brant Medical Staff for their caring and compassion towards Mom leading up to her final days. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will follow, once family and friends can gather without restrictions. Mom will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made or to a Charity of your choice.
