It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Peter on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton at the age of 88. Survived by his loving wife, Linda (nee Thomson). Cherished father to Chris (Jusyl) Strache of Burlington, Shannon Thomson of Hamilton, and Sylvia (Rob) Levin of St. Catharines, grandson Joseph. Peter will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, January 8th from 3-5 p.m. Much thanks to the many Doctors and Nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital.
