Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on February 19, 2022 at the age of 95. Born August 1, 1926 in Cornwall, Ontario, she was the daughter of Nelson & Evelyn Chisamore (nee Shaw). Loving wife of the late Edwin Birch (d. 2020); devoted mother of Christopher (Young - Sook) Birch and Donna (William) Young; proud grandmother of Cameron (Heather) Young, Sarah Birch, Craig (Megan) Young, Arthur Birch, Caitlyn Young and Cody Birch; and great grandmother Gray Young, Leo Young and Gideon Young. Pearl is survived by siblings Caroline Isaac and John (Helen) Chisamore. Predeceased by brothers Harold (Wendy) and Norman Chisamore. Pearl was a retired school teacher who taught in Brockville and closed out her career in East York.

Burial will take place in the spring at Blue Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Pearl may be made to Sick Kids Hospital.
