Obituary for Pamela Byrom Hughes
It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Pamela Hughes, on December 15, 2020. However, we remember and celebrate her life and what she has meant to those who knew her and enjoyed her gentle, patient, yet determined personality!
Born in the North of England, she inherited a good British “backbone”, calmness and strength which served her well when she immigrated to Canada as a very young mother, with only her husband as support. She quickly made lifelong friends with whom she enjoyed many social celebrations, although her focus was always, selflessly, on making richer the lives of her husband, children and grandchildren.
