Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Shaver on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 71. Loved son of Melusine and the late Otto Bierwagen. Close friend of many years of Janette Bent. Forever in the hearts of family and friends. Ottmar was a long time resident of Grimsby, ON. He had an extensive career in professional photography working for the Winnipeg Free Press, Hamilton Spectator, National Geographic Society, Toronto Star, freelance and most recently as the proud owner of Spectrum Photofile Inc. As per his wishes, private cremation has taken place. Interment Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Your wry sense of humour, your dedicated photographer’s eye and my memories of our friendship during those grand newspaper days of the 70/80s will stay with me forever. Farewell good friend.
