Obituary

Bacon, Norma Anne (nee Earle)
October 15, 1932 - March 1, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Norma, in Burlington, Ontario in her 88th year, after her long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was a devoted mother to Chris (Ashley) and Karen (Rick), and will be fondly remembered by her sister Marie, Niece Lee (Mike) and extended family.
A Service of Remembrance will take place at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 1 pm with a reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's society of Hamilton/Halton would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

We feel privileged to have known Norma for a few years. She was a delightful, interesting, classy and feisty lady with a good sense of humour. Norma was a wonderful mother to her two children and made life interesting and rich for them. She was proud of their accomplishments. Our daughter Ashley was blessed to be her daughter in law and had a deep love for Norma. We will remember her fondly.

I didn’t know Norma well, but I know she was a very classy woman and was always extremely well put together and fashionable.
She had a lovely smile that made me smile.
She lead an interesting life of travel and adventure.
We are thankful to be blessed by her son, our brother in law, that she brought into this world.
Our prayers are with Norma’s family.
With Love,
Peri and Lisa Singer Kolivaris

Marcia and I are sorry for your loss. Your mom was your biggest fan and introduced me and many others to your abilities by proudly showing the “Owl” around City Hall. I remember your mom and dad coming into Bush’s. It was always warm, easy conversation as long as your dad bought what your mom thought he should have. I will remember her fondly.
Hope all goes well with you.
Best,
Alan Baynton
