Obituary for Nickolas Alexander Hepburn

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the loss of Nick. After a long and courageous battle with cancer he passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 41. Nick will be deeply missed by his wife Pamela and children Eve, Olivia and Jacob. Nick is survived by parents Carolyn (Harry) and Gary (Tracey), siblings Nicole Hepburn (Bryant), Geoff Puscher (Fiona), Jason Puscher and Jamie Hepburn Sharman (Matt). Nieces and nephews Warner, Elisa, Ivan, Mathéo, Brayden, Jocelyn, Austin and Mack and his beloved Dude.

Nick graduated from General Brock High School in 1998. He went on to Mohawk College Trade School for plumbing and completed his apprenticeship necessary to become a licensed tradesman. He joined his dad that same year at Hepburn Plumbing and will be remembered for his extraordinary skill set.

Nick was extremely passionate in life whether it was playing baseball, fishing, camping or enjoying time with family and friends of which he had many. He approached every aspect of his life with kindness, generosity, positivity and determination. Nick loved to make people feel good. He will always be remembered for his loving disposition, genuine love for life and his contagious sense of humour. Nick had a dynamic personality, a one-of-a-kind smile and was forever the life of the party. You could always count on Nick to be there to help with whatever was needed. He was well respected by everyone who crossed his path and was a true mentor to all. Most of all Nick will be remembered for his pride and love that he had for his family and home.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rosalyn Juergens and all the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their exemplary care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Lions Club, 471 Pearl Street, Burlington on July 15, 2022 from 5 - 10 pm with a special time for tributes commencing at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Juravinski Cancer Centre - Hamilton Health Sciences, 699 Concession Street, Hamilton, ON L8V 5C2 would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
