Obituary

STEMPOWICZ, Nickodem J. passed away peacefully at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 84. In addition to his parents, Nick is preceded in death by his brother Ron and sister Jennie. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tamiye and children, Craig, Teresa (Rick), David (Patricia) and Leslie. Proud grandfather of Kaza (Fin), Tienna, Julia, Nicholas, Zachary, Sophie, William and Hanna. Great grandfather of Matthew. Dear brother of Wanda and Irene. Cherished uncle of Bobby, Vicky, Rochelle, Vincent, Drew and Melissa.
Nick had a passion for life and will be remembered for his love of the sun, going to the beach at Georgian Bay and having picnics with his family. Nick was an ardent Toronto Argonauts fan as well as watching old-time classic movies. Nick was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 353.

A private gathering has taken place. For those who wish, donations in Nick's memory can be made to Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home.
