Passed away at Alexander Place on Thursday May 23rd, 2019 in her 94th year. She will be deeply missed by her children, Carole (Peter), Ron (Brenda), Christine (Gord), Kathy (Maurice), and Daniel, as well as six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday May 28th, 2019 from 3 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Nellie to take place at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 715 Center Road, Waterdown, on Wednesday May 29th, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery will follow directly after the mass. A reception will be held following the interment at the church. For those who wish memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
