CASCIO, Michele 'Mike'
Passed away peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Friday, October 18, 2019, in his 72nd year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Giulia (nee Sciarra) for 49 years. Loving father of Mario (Carmen) and Adriano. Missed by his sister Carla Nocera (Giovanni) of Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Mario and Anna and by his dear brother Vincenzo all of Italy. Mike will be missed by his dear family and his many relatives and friends in Canada, Australia and Italy. Mike lived a very full life, was an avid animal lover, raised many animals on his farm and retired from his construction business of over 30 years Thank you to the wonderful staff and doctors at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital ER and ICU departments and their compassionate care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution to Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
