Obituary for Megan Theresa Elizabeth Teepell

Megan Theresa Elizabeth Teepell
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Megan Theresa Elizabeth Teepell on Thursday August 30th, 2018.

Megan brought immense joy to her loving mother, Patti Teepell (née Weber), her father Eric Teepell, and brothers Simon Weber and Shawn Daley.

While her time was short, her love was long. She loved playing with her cousins, singing, telling jokes, summer camp and most of all, swimming with her mom. Her beauty, radiant smile, sense of humour, free-spirit and loving nature will be forever remembered by all who met her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that Megan lives on through her gift of organs to others in need.

Megan also leaves behind her loving grandparents (Pat Weber and Shirley & Bruce Teepell), her aunts and uncles (Richard Weber, John and Jodi Weber, Jim and Alyson Weber, and Jennifer and Brian Costello), her cousins (Matthew, Michael, Ella, Sophie, Carson, Erin, Kathy and Luke), and a large and loving extended family. She will be greeted in heaven by the open arms of her grandfather, Jim Weber Sr. She will be dearly missed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and School, which were such an important part of her life.
A private family funeral will be held in the coming weeks. Details of a public memorial service inviting all of Megan’s friends and family will be forthcoming.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a foundation being established by Megan’s immediate family to honour her memory. Foundation details to follow.
