Obituary for Maurice Joseph Forget
It is with the heaviest of hearts the family announces the passing of Maurice Forget.
Moe passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving husband of Carmen. Cherished father of Josee (Brian) Wheatley and the late Caroline Scott. Grandfather of Matthew Scott, and great grandfather of Harley and Nylah. Fondly remembered by Carmen's children Anita (Dave), Lynn (Jim), the late Jazz, Regine (Daniel), Sylvie and Maryse and the grandkids. Survived by sisters Simone, Therese and Jeannette. Predeceased by siblings Lucille and Rheal. Moe was a dedicated employee for many years at Hoover and Firestone, ultimately retiring with WABCO. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Lakeview Retirement for his care the last 8 months.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
