Obituary for Maureen Galvin

Galvin, Maureen (Nee McNeil)
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on February 4th at 64 years of age, with her family by her side. Maureen will be loved and forever cherished by her children James and Alex. She will also be deeply missed by her mother, Mary-Ann Vickers; brother, Dan McNeil (Carol); sister, Shelley McNeil-Law; her niece and nephews, Sarah, Nathan, Duncan and Andrew; and so many others. Predeceased by her father, Roderick McNeil and younger sister, Anna-Marie McNeil.
Despite her battle with cancer over the years, Maureen had an enduring spirit and led a rich life full of laughter, adventures and great friendships. She will be fondly remembered for her fun-loving nature and sense of humour, natural athleticism and love of sports, as well as her dedication to working with students with special needs. She never missed an opportunity to crack a bad joke or do something silly for a laugh.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Until then, please have a drink in her honour (preferably scotch).
