Obituary for Matthew Andrew Pecyna
Peacefully at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton, with his family by his side on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the age of 85. He is the husband of the late Rose (nee Kochan). Matthew will be remembered fondly by his children, Matt Jr. (Tracey), Derek and Stephen (Theresa). He will be a treasured memory to his grandchildren Jamee, Joelle and Matthew Jr., Andrew and Alyssa, Chantal and Philip.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’s FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of the QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, September 25 from 7 – 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Matthew’s family would like to thank all of his caregivers during his time of need. Special thanks V.O.N., Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice staff and volunteers and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hospital, Hamilton.
