Loving mother of Jane Brunetti (Angelo), Ted Hanbury (Nancy) and Carolyn Hughes (late Stan, 2014). Cherished grandmother of Aaron Brunetti (Ivey), Nick Brunetti, Lauren Richards (Jeremy), Blair Hanbury (Dan McKittrick), Rachel Hanbury, Corey Hughes and Taylor Hughes and great-grandmother of Leo Brunetti. Dear sister of Carolyn Mendham (late Dave), Duncan Brown (Lois), late Isobel Campbell (Bob), late Stewart “Bud” Brown (Doreen), sister-in-law of Elsa Hanbury (late Tom), and special family friend Hayley. Mary Jean will also be missed by numerous extended family and friends. MJ thoroughly enjoyed spending 6 weeks in New York attending the Parsons School of Design. She also enjoyed her time working as a personal shopper with Eaton’s, and in administration and reception with Campbell Soup Company where her love for tomato soup grew! She and Ted were past members of St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church in Burlington. MJ also spent time canvasing and volunteering for various charities over the years. She was passionate about cooking and baking for her family, attending theatre, travelling and playing bridge with Ted and friends, and adored interior design and ceramics as well. Special thank you to Rev. Susan Wells and the staff at Amica Stoney Creek for their care and compassion, we will be forever grateful for the support and guidance you provided our family and the second home you made for MJ.
