Farrar, Mary Jane
Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 76 with family by her side. She will be deeply missed by her brothers Richard (Nancy) and James (Janet). Predeceased by her brother William (Judith) and her nephew Robert. MJ was well-loved by her nieces and nephews Jonathan, Sarah, Dan, Zachary, Nathan, Eric, Tom, Matthew and Caitlin Walker, and their children. MJ is also remembered by many friends gained as a teacher, neighbour and volunteer. Most important to her was her faith in Christ and hope in the resurrection of the dead. A private graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery. A service to remember MJ will be held at Mountain Grove Christadelphian Chapel (1525 Mountain Grove Ave, Burlington) on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service until 1 p.m. at the chapel. Special thanks to the teams at the Hamilton General Hospital for their exceptional care. Memorial contributions to the Royal Botanical Gardens or the Christadelphian Israeli Children’s Fund would be greatly preferred in lieu of floral tributes.
