Passed away peacefully at Burloak Long Term Care on September 22, 2019 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Loving mother of Patricia Brinston, Brian (Suzanne) Hodgson, John (Nancy) Hodgson, Brenda (Ron) Verlaan and Deirdre Hodgson (Lloyd). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Lisa), Mark (Christine), Janet (Ryan), Jennifer (Sean), Stephen (Adrienne), Danielle (Phil), Christopher (Maddi) and Mary (Mark). Proud Great-Grandmother to Liam, Caiden, Ben, Addison, Grace, Nora, Lily, Georgia, Rosemary, and Lauren. Dear sister of Bill (Anne) O’Brien, Pat (Marie) O’Brien, the late Jim (Pauline) O’Brien and Anne (George) Cunliffe. Mary will be fondly remembered by many extended friends and family.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at Smith’s Funeral Home in the Chapel on Friday, September 27 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. A private interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
