Passed away at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Marlene was born on November 26, 1950 and adopted soon after by Harry and Margaret Howard. Survived by her husband Thomas, sisters-in-law Margaret Gillan, Kathy Burns (Rob) and niece Kelleigh. Also survived by brother James (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Gord (Mary). Marlene taught for many years with the Hamilton District School Board and enjoyed participating in the Retired Teachers Organization activities. In accordance with Marlene's wishes, no funeral or memorial will take place. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
