Obituary for Mario Remo Sartor
SARTOR, Mario Remo 1936-2022
We are sad to announce the passing of Mario at Creek Way Village, on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 86. He suffered from vascular dementia for many years, and most recently suffered from cancer, which took him quickly. Beloved husband for over 63 years to Gabriella (nee Pizzolato). Dear father of Mark (Theresa), Sandra (Craig), Robert (Heidi), and Christina. He will greatly be missed by his many grandchildren: James, Eric, Ian, Savanna, Austin, Sydney, Kove, Kee, Gabriella, and Emilia. Special thanks to his caregivers at Creek Way Village for all of their compassionate care. Mario was well known in the area for his custom home building company Marsan Homes. He worked hard, in business and family life, and rarely just sat around and relaxed. Even when he went to the cottage in Skerryvore, there was always a job to do. His only true relaxation came on his annual vacations to his favourite beach destinations Costa Rica and Cuba. In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment at Evergreen Cemetery will be scheduled later.
