Obituary for Marilyn E Malloy (Belch)
With great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Malloy on March 25, 2023 after a brief illness. Daughter of the late William and Winnifred Belch and cherished wife of Len Malloy for over 60 years. Loving mother of Shelley (Rick) McMillan and Scott (Beth) Malloy. Doting grandmother of her five grandchildren Amy, Andrew, Caitlyn, Luke and Ryan. Dear sister of Yvonne Stark (Doug, deceased), Ken Belch (Carol) and Cheryl Clayworth (David). Pre-deceased by her brother Ernie Belch (Evelyn). Loving sister-in-law of Stuart Malloy (Reta), Eula Malloy, Leona Malloy and Eva Malloy. She is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins in both the Belch and Malloy families, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington located one block north of the QEW on Guelph Line on Friday, March 31st from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.. A Celebration of Marilyn’s Life will be held at Shoreacres Bible Chapel, 370 Shoreacres Rd. on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions would be appreciated for either Joy Bible Camp (www.joycamp.ca) or to the Friday Night Community Meal Bag Program*.
