CONDON, Marilyn
The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Marilyn Condon. Marilyn passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 75, surrounded by the love of her family. Marilyn was the beloved wife of Brian for 55 years, the loving mother of Dan (Karen) and Tracey (Dave Heaton). She will be sadly missed by her pride and joy, her four grandsons, James, Connor, Sean and Jack. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Mary Kennedy, by her brothers Jack, Gary, Gerry, Michael and by her sister Colleen. She is survived by her brother Gord (Marian), her sister-in-law Bryna and by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Marilyn always placed the needs of others above herself. She lived her life to the fullest with a smile and a laugh regardless of her personal circumstances, which included fighting hard against Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years. While she had a long working career, primarily with Sears and then as a District Manager with United Cigar Store, what was most important to her was her family, her friends, her extensive gardens and her beloved dogs.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Parish (58 Sydenham Street, Dundas) on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:00am. Reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marilyn can be made to the Hamilton-Burlington SPCA or to your local Animal Aid which would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
