WALKER, Marguerite Rose Marie (nee Bender; Freeman)-
Peacefully passed away at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late A. Leonard Walker (1987). Loving mother of Leonard (Valerie), Chris (Gertha Griffiths) and Lucille King (Gordon Denholm). Cherished Grandmother of Tina (Jay), Emily (Erik), Kevin, Lucas, Jessica, Noel, Morgan (Simon), Arran, Holly (Daryl) and Andrew(Jesslyin) and great-grandmother of Kayla, Oliver, Maggie, Olwyn, Sienna, Cassidy, Jonathan and Christopher. Dear sister-in-law of Marjorie Bryant and Norma Cox. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton, after reception. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the staff at both Lakeshore Place, Burloak Long Term Care and Best Care Agency for their kindness and compassionate care.
