Obituary for Margaret Jeffries (Russell)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Margaret who passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the age of 78. Devoted wife to Bryan Jeffries whom she has been lovingly married to for 47 years. Cherished mother to Sara (Peter Hoffman) Jeffries of Burlington and David (Julie) Jeffries of London. Proud grandmother to Ginny, Oliver, Carter and Harry. Forever in the hearts of her siblings Jean (Jim) Walker, Helen (John) Murdie and Eileen (Andy) McBride. Sister-in-law to Sylvia (Ted) Bailey and Bill (Jean) Jeffries and loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret Russell (nee McDonald). Margaret may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Joseph Brant Hospital and The Carpenter Hospice for their care and support. As per Margaret's wishes, and that of her family, a private cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 4-7pm, with a time of sharing and reflections at 5:30pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
