Lydia Mac Rae Jones’s (nee Cameron) life ceased on November 10th, 2019. She leaves to remember her time with us, her daughter Carolyn Louise Davidge and Larry and their children Drew and Hailey, her son Jay Cameron Jones and Barbara and children Katrina and Clayton as well as 4 great grandchildren, Owen, Lucy, Blake and Parker. Lydia was fortunate to have had many friends over her lifetime who will think kindly of her time with us. She was the former Executive Director of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and prior to that was Policy Director of the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce. Her Chamber work all began when she was the secretary for the Ontario and Hamilton Jaycees. Lydia was past president of the Zonta 1 Club of Hamilton and held positions in various business and community organizations. Lydia has asked that if you wish to remember her, do so with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do, she will live in our hearts forever. Flowers and donations are gratefully declined. A private family graveside burial of her ashes will take place in the spring.
