FREEMAN, Lois Jean (nee Roberton)
July 23, 1924 – May 22, 2019
It is with sadness that we announce Lois’ passing in her 95th year. Lois lost her spouse of 26 years, John Robinson in February 2014. She was predeceased by her first husband William freeman in 1985. She will be missed by John’s family, Robinsons and McMullins. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and their children, Sheltons, Simpsons and Dunsmores. Lois leaves her beloved younger sister Vicki Simpson to keep an eye on the family group. Lois loved kids and the “Critters” of this world, dogs, cats, horses, you name it! She also loved music, especially guitar and piano. In keeping with Lois’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 12 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Operation Smile Canada or the Burlington Humane Society would be appreciated.
