EDGAR, Lillias McKay (nee Wilson)
Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday June 10, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late William Edgar. Loving mother of Lynn Nutt (Stephen), Christine Moore (Michael) and Michael Edgar (Michelle). Proud grandmother of Dave Nutt (Ali), Ken Nutt (Sasha), Laura Nutt (Alex), Catherine Mander (Jeremy), Jamie Moore, Stephanie Tilley (Dave), Alexandra Williams (Dave), Lynsey DeMann (Tyler) and Samantha Edgar (Chris). GG to Sebastian, Cora, Ethan, Finlay, Leo, Emma, Clara, Liam, Mason, MacKenzie, Mason and Linc. Predeceased by her parents Catherine (McKay) and Alexander Wilson, and by her seven siblings.
Lil immigrated with Bill and Lynn from Scotland in 1951 to Lachine, Quebec. Moving many times, they added Chris (Quebec) and Mike (New Brunswick) to the family, while adding many life-long friends. Finally spending the past 54 years in Ontario, she lived the last 30+ years with Chris in Burlington. She has now joined her one love, Bill. Mum, Grandma and GG is loved and sadly missed by all. Haste ye back, Mum.

As per Lil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery will occur when family are all able to attend. For those who wish, donations in memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
