Krystyna Elzbieta "Krys" Binkley (Grodzinski)
On January 1, 2018 at the age of 70, Krystyna Elzbieta Binkley passed away peacefully in the presence of family. Krys was an inspiration. Though her life was complicated from spinal cord injury she never complained and was always comforted by her faith, friends and family. Her optimism, resilience, determination and unbreakable spirit touched the lives of so many. Krys will be greatly missed. Loving wife to Bob, mother to Marc & Crystal, Matt & Jodie, Marissa & Michael, and cherished GG (Gorgeous Grandmother) to Mitchell, Addison, Jake, Kenyon and Mackena. Krys is survived by her mother Barbara and sisters Barbara and Tanya. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s ICU for all their love, support and kindness. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Parish, 11 Wilson Street, Ancaster, on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
