Peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved spouse of Doreen Barrett. Loving father of Brian Hill and his wife Amalia of Milton and Tammy Hill of British Columbia. Cherished grandfather of Jade Hill. Kent is survived by his mother Annie Hill and brothers Larry Hill (June) and Terry Hill. Predeceased by his father Arthur Hill. Kent will be fondly remembered for his love of golf. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of both the Hamilton General Hospital and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their fantastic care and compassion. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Kent’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 4-7p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Hamilton General Hospital – Neurology Department or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
