I met Ken when he joined curling at the Burlington Golf & Country Club. Over the period of time he was a member we not only curled against each other but became team mates and curled competitively in bonspiels outside the club with the highlight being in 2017 when we won our event at the Hamilton & District Bonspiel an accomplishment I know he truly was proud of.

I enjoyed Ken's company and found him to be a very down to earth person. I was very saddened when I learned this spring hie illness had returned I had hoped his competitive spirit would once again result in winning another challenge.

Although Diane we have only met occasionally I want to extend my heart felt condolences to you and your family on Ken's passing. Unfortunately due to a previous commitment I will will be unable to attend the Memorial on Sunday but my thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless him and I will miss seeing him this as well as future curling seasons.
