BURLEY, Kenneth Lawrence
Passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 83, in the arms of his loving wife of 55 years, Marion. Survived by loving daughter Denise Anne; by sister Joyce (late Earl) Smith, sister Barbara (late George) Jager, brother Bill (late Jeannie) Burley; and by many nieces and nephews. Ken will be deeply missed by sister-in-law Marlene (late Mac) McGregor, sister-in-law Evelyn (late Tom) Bellamy, brother-in-law Jim (Lillian) Devos, brother-in-law Don (Pat) Roets and predeceased by sister-in-law late Bernice (late Don) Donais. Member of Friends of Haida, member of the Royal Canadian Legion (at large). Ken served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 30 years.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of the QEW), Burlington on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00pm with reception to follow.
Ken will be buried at Sea. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated.
