Chinoy, Kathryn Elspeth (1937-2021)
Kathryn passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of
Sam Chinoy - predeceased. Loving mother of Kelly Ravinsky (Ken), Shannon Beattie, and
Diana Edl (Bob). Cherished grandmother of her 7 grandchildren; Stephen, Robert, Ashleigh,
Christopher, Daniel, Avery & Peyton. Kathryn will be deeply missed by her siblings, Ruth
(Allan – predeceased), Richard – predeceased (Marnie) and Judy (Michael), as well as her
many travel companions/nieces and nephews. Kathryn proudly served as a nurse before
following her dream of travelling the world. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed many
years as part of the Etobicoke Musical Productions. In keeping with Kathryn’s wishes,
Cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an
expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
if you wish.
