Obituary for Juanita Cicero

Cicero, Juanita

On December 14, 2022, Juanita died in her 68th year due to medical complications of a decade-long valiant struggle with the challenges of renal disease. She leaves behind her only sibling, brother Len (Leslie) Cicero and two cherished nephews, Matthew and Nicholas Cicero. Juanita devoted herself to the nurturing of these twins who were her pride and joy. She truly loved them dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence "Flo" (nee Graci) and John R. Cicero. We, the family of Juanita, are profoundly saddened by the untimely death of a sister, aunt, mentor and friend.

Strong moral values and principles guided her through life. This often caused her grief; yet, she remained steadfast in her righteous approach to life. As a secondary school teacher of academic studies, Juanita celebrated the achievements of her students to whom she was a strong example of integrity and morality. Their accomplishments enabled her to vicariously experience her own goals and potential achievements. Many will miss her quick wit and sense of humour, curiosity of knowledge, and intelligence. She was respected and admired for these qualities.
