Josh, a son, grandson, brother and friend, passed away as the result of a tragic accident on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the age of 25. Beloved son of Terry and Rita. Adored grandson of Gordon and Elizabeth Eastman, and Roland and Norma Ezri. Proud brother of Jeremy. Nephew of Michael (Julie) and Susan. Cousin of Stephanie and Christopher. His extended family members, friends, colleagues, and those touched by his warmth will miss him dearly. Born on January 1, 1999, in Chicago, Josh created countless cherished memories as he moved to Ontario, California and Denver- eventually settling in Kingston, Ontario. Josh was deeply connected to every community he lived in and was an active member of numerous hiking clubs. He loved traveling, and appreciating the world's natural beauty. Josh's passion for life was infectious, and he had a zest for exploration and adventure. A Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Project Canoe or Birds Canada, organizations which were dear to Josh's heart.
