Obituary for Joseph Simon
SIMON, Joseph. March 6, 1928 – August 7, 2022
Sadly we announce the passing of Joseph Simon loving husband to Dorothy (Dot) Simon for 69 years. Loving father to son Brent Simon, (Whati), Grandchildren Isabelle, Jared and Thomas (deceased). Father Joseph and Mother Anna (deceased) Brother William Simon, sister-in-law Jacqueline Buttigieg and brother-in-law Edmund Bozek (deceased). Nieces and nephews - Leslie Harrison, Susan, Stephen, (Zee), Brad and Richard (Nathalie) Simon.
My nieces and nephews were very kind in all the help given to us in the passing of their uncle. Joe worked at Siemen’s/Westinghouse for 34 years as a machinist. He enjoyed his favourite sport – five pin bowling for many years, teaching and coaching children at Roseland Bowl. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, the PSW‘s And staff for their kindness to my husband at Joseph Brant Hospital. Also thanks to Brian from Acclaim Health. Cremation has taken place. No funeral or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joseph Brant Foundation or Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated.
