Joseph (Joe) Kane, beloved husband of the late Patricia Kane, peacefully passed away on May 24, 2023. He will be forever cherished and remembered by his loving daughters Pauline, Lorna, and Rona, along with his grandchildren Nadia, Sarah, Alexander, Matthew, Robert, Aaron, and Samantha. His great-grandchildren, Kieran, Isla, and Noah, were a source of immense joy and pride for Joe.
Joe, originally from Scotland, embarked on a remarkable journey across the globe before finding his cherished home in Canada, where he resided for over 40 years. A successful businessman, Joe's passion for entrepreneurship was matched only by his love for the game of golf. He dedicated countless hours to perfecting his skills and formed lasting bonds with fellow golf enthusiasts.
While Joe's professional accomplishments were significant, his greatest legacy lies in the memories he created with his family. His nurturing presence, wise guidance, and boundless love shaped the lives of his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Joe's warm heart, infectious laughter, and zest for life will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, let us find solace in the legacy he leaves behind and the countless lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to
Carpenter Hospice in Joe's name, as a tribute to his generosity and compassion.
May Joe's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and volunteers of Carpenter Hospice.
