Obituary for John Arthur Brown
BROWN, John Arthur 1965-2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing from a massive heart attack of John Arthur Brown. He was the beloved son of Marcelline (O’Mara) Brown and the late James “Buster” Brown. John will be lovingly remembered by his brother Jim (and Marilyn) and sister Andrea (and Liam) Doherty and nieces Tara, Rowan and Maeve.
He was a craftsman who spent many happy hours fiddling with gadgets and gizmos and wood and always had some project underway. He built and played a variety of guitars. Music was very important to him both playing and writing songs. Being completely self-taught he very proud of his skills. Although John was a home body, he thoroughly enjoyed some grand adventures with his nieces and loved to tell stories about Alaska, Florida and skiing. He would do anything for them.
The family will greet friends at ST. RAPHAEL' S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4072 New St, Burlington on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada or any other mental health organization would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
